Sailor is a jewelry and lifestyle store edited by jewelry designer Sarah McGuire, a New England native who has called Chicago home for over 20 years.
The shop represents over 30 independent jewelry designers from around the world, as well as an ever-changing assortment of artwork, ceramics, personal accessories and niche fragrance.
The first location opened in 2017 in the Ravenswood neighborhood of Chicago. In 2023, Sarah opened a second Sailor in Wellfleet, Massachusetts, which she has been visiting every summer since she was a child.
Why Sailor? Because Sailors are collectors. The name invites imagination. It conjures images of exploration and discovery; night skies and open water; challenges and adventures; treasure hunts and storytelling.
